Cleaning Arrangements

Our Scout Hut is used on a self-care arrangement.

We do operate a Cleaning Rota which is viewable on Group Event and Programme Calendar. However we do expect every user of the building to ensure the following is completed.

Please leave the building in the condition you expect to find it. All users of the Scout Hut are to please:

• Check all Toilets and where necessary pick up any rubbish and clean up any spillages/mishaps. (Whether they are used or not).
• All Toilet Doors are left wedged open.
• Hoover the Hallway if necessary.
• Sweep the main hall/mop up any spillages that happen.
• Ensure all tables and chairs are clean and returned to their correct location.
• Ensure the Kitchen worktops and floor are clean.
• Remove all food waste and take home to prevent vermin.
• Hoover and clean upstairs (if used).
• Ensure the Bins are emptied if needed.
• Ensure all equipment is returned to its correct location and is left clean and dry.

For the Section who is on Cleaning Duty we expect the additional:

• Clean all of the Toilets
• Clean the Kitchen
• Mop the Kitchen and Toilets if necessary.
• Hoover the Hallway
• Hoover Upstairs if necessary.
• Empty the Bins
